Hey Scott   This is great news - I love these reunions!  I'm sure you'll have a fantastic tour around Italy this summer - and we'll look forward very much to seeing you at next Carnival - by that time it will be much easier for us to bring the twins into Venice for a photo shoot!   All is well with the twins - naturally lots of work but they're incredibly well behaved really.  Night are not too bad....but then Marzia has much better hearing than I do!   Great that you're coming along - am really looking forward to it!   All the best and fond regards to Laura also   Jonathan

Hi Jonathan-   I'm on board and really looking forward to another Carnevale with the group.   Hope you and Marzia are well, and that the twins are doing well and sleeping the night away!   The Spagnoli clan will be careening through central Italia next month.  Sorry we won't make it up to Venice this trip, but La Serenissima deserves a dedicated visit, especially during Carnevale, which is like magic.   Scott

Hello Photographers   The Carnival falls a little later in the month this year - which could mean better weather, although touch wood, we've been incredibly lucky over the years with the elements - only the first year back in 2004 saw rain, fog, snow and sun all in five days!   For anybody coming along on the workshop, or thinking about it, please do say hi, post any questions you may have...   Looking forward to seeing you all there   All the best   Jonathan

Hi anyone and everyone, this is keith alias crispy duck. VSP carnival 2008 partisipant. Guilty as everyone I haven't looked at the forum for ages. Is there anyone going to Venice Carnival 2010 ? Your in for a treat. I will be there unfortunatly not with vsp but with the wife. but I will have the camera with me. Hope to see Johnathan and Marzia there. I'm sure your all be made very welcome. Hi   The camera sounds fine - what kind of lens would you use with that?  So long as the lens is not ultra long zoom or ultra wide you should be fine.  Most people probably bring a wide and a long lens.  If you have at least one lens that covers the focal range of maybe 30-100 that would be great.   Just shout if you have any other questions   Kind Regards   Jonathan
