" I have participated in two VSP activities, one in Provence, and the other during Carnivale in Venice. To say that I am critical and demanding is an understatement, and I attend very few workshops because honestly, I am usually unimpressed with the level of attention to detail in the planning and execution of many of these type programs. My experience with Jonathan and Marzia’s workshops has been outstanding for the following reasons: Every aspect of the workshops was meticulously well planned and well executed - The schedule, program, and program content were exactly as advertised and more - When I needed and asked for flexibility to include planning for my family to accompany me to France, Marzia was gracious, efficient, and incredibly helpful in helping us make arrangements for the family - Jonathan does an absolutely superb job of selecting sites for the workshops and varying the photographic opportunities to assure that I had opportunities that were both enjoyable and educational - Jonathan provides succinct, dispassionate, but respectful and on-target critiques that are very productive. Bottom line is that Jonathan and Marzia are class act folks who work diligently to provide photographers of varying interests and experience with very enjoyable and productive workshop experiences. I highly recommend them to any photographer who is looking for great imaging opportunities, and an enjoyable and productive experience".

The emphasis was on the travel and getting great shots in a small group environment. Creative Seeing was more formal and more about the creative aspects of photography.
