VSP

The ideal workshop for people who are going to be in Venice for just a few days. We've crammed over seven years of experience doing workshops in Venice, into two amazing days. The two days will involve a mix of instruction and being out in the field shooting Venice's most stunning locations. The tour will be led by local photographer Jonathan Maher. Jonathan is the founder of VSP Workshops, and has been living in Venice since 2001. His intimate knowledge of the city will take you to areas that you would not otherwise find.
The itinerary will be based around being in the best place at the best time - light will be key. We'll shoot the best spots for sunrise, visit some of the city's more beautiful and less known locations during the day, and ensure we take full advantage of the setting afternoon sun. There will also be a night-time shoot, and the chance to photograph the city when the streets are empty.
The workshop is tuition only, so you'd need to take care of your own accommodation. The hotel we recommend is the Best Western Hotel Ala. The meeting place will be in their lobby each morning.
Open to all skill levels, all ages....this is a great opportunity to make the very most of two days in Venice with a photographer who lives in the city.
